Chris Goemans
Chris brings decades of experience, a passion for teaching, and a commitment to public safety into every class he leads. Whether in the field, the classroom, or on the range, he remains dedicated to empowering others with the skills and confidence to respond, protect, and make a difference.
Chris’s journey into emergency services began as a teenager, volunteering with two local ambulance and rescue squads in Northeast Queens. Driven by a passion for helping others, he completed his EMT certification and has proudly maintained his New York State EMT credentials since 1992.
Throughout the 1990s and into the 2000s, Chris served as a dedicated EMT in New York City, while also teaching life-saving skills through the American Red Cross and the American Heart Association. His commitment to education led him to become a core instructor at the Regional Training Center for Emergency Medical Technicians—one of New York’s most established EMT training facilities. Since 1995, he has helped train and re-certify thousands of Certified First Responders and EMTs.
In 2015, Chris expanded his public safety expertise by obtaining his NYC pistol and long gun permits. What began as a casual interest in shooting evolved into a serious pursuit of excellence in the shooting sports. He now holds several firearms instructor credentials and continues to hone his skills, staying a student first and sharing his knowledge through coaching and instruction.
In addition to teaching, Chris leads a specialized support team focused on security and life safety systems for one of New York’s largest integration firms.New York State Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
